Howdy all!

This Saturday 27th March is our next fun-raiser – and it will see bands Derwent River Star and Packwood folking the hell out of Curiousworks. Folking will be interspersed with short video works made by young ‘uns in communities all around Australia. This night is set to be a lovely one, so be sure to come down!

Entry as usual is a $10 tax-deductible donation, with all proceeds going to support diverse artists and helping disadvantaged communities across Australia. A short 3 minute walk from the Devonshire St exit at Central will get you here nice and safe.

Doors open at 7:30pm and we’ll wrap up both sets by 11pm.

Our next fundraiser is SATURDAY 20TH FEB! And it’s looking rather quite good…

Each month we’ll be holding a simple fundraiser at our Sydney warehouse on Randle St, looking over Central station. The events will feature a mix of local independent artists, the latest and greatest content made with CuriousWorks by communities around Australia and – of course – you!

In February we’re hosting four great local bands with global sounds, including local CuriousWorks collective Asi. The bands’ sets will be interspersed with short music clips and mashups made by young people from communities around Australia.

Following the intimate screening of The Migrant Project film late last year, we found that we really dug having our friends and colleagues relax, be entertained and reconnect outside of the usual work context. So please, come along, meet some like-minded people and… well, hang out!

Proceeds will go towards CuriousWorks’ community program, All Around You. A portion of the proceeds will also go to the artists as we believe in supporting local, independent, creativity and innovation.

CuriousWorks is a registered Australian charity with a NSW fundraising certificate. Please do not bring your own food and drink to this event.
