Expect Spanish serenades, a speech made for parliament, stories of Sydney’s inner west burning down, and more. Don’t miss it.
The Migrant Project, the initiative which began CuriousWorks, is up and running again – this time in the hands of a new generation. The project has been given as a model to Ashfield Youth Theatre to create their own new work, in their own unique way.
CuriousWorks was lucky enough to see a preview of the work on the weekend, and it blew us away. A group of wildly diverse young people from across Sydney have come together to share stories from their personal histories – stories about their parents, their cultures, their city. It’s amazing to see a possible picture of the future Australia emerge. This is a work by young people, but for everyone.
Expect Spanish serenades, a speech made for parliament, stories of Sydney’s inner west burning down, and more. Don’t miss it.

A team of young people from Sydney’s Inner West with ancestries from across the globe come together to share their stories and investigate what happens in the space where cultures and identities collide.
