Lovegeek gets Curious
CuriousWorks director, Shakthi, appears in this month’s web zine for art-nerd lovers, Lovegeek. If you want a personal take on CuriousWorks’ everyday activities while we’ve been in Roebourne, then head over to Lovegeek and check out the interview.
In 2007, CuriousWorks ran a little project called piXelsQuared, in partnership with SquareOne Youth Media Arts Space and the Powerhouse Museum, both along Harris St in Ultimo, Sydney.
piXelsQuared was an incubation program for young artists with innovative ideas linking digital media to community. The program provided a nurturing environment for dedicated emerging artists, media makers or community workers to receive peer-to-peer training in emerging technologies and community collaboration.
Lovegeek was one of those projects - and we are super-proud of how it has continued to grow under the capable hands of Mads Allen.
Thanks for inviting us back this month into the Lovegeek fold, Mads!
