Liverpool - Refill Workshop 1

Hello, Blog. I am Elias, CuriousWorker. Workshops and videos are my current realm of curiosity. Our first CuriousWorks All Around You workshop on Wednesday was THE BOMB. I’m extremely pumped to be working with the reFill kids, I was blown away by their energy and ideas.

Playing the theatre games at the beginning worked extremely well, everyone had a lot of fun. The second half of the workshop was a tech circuit, 3 technologies demoed by myself, Shakthi & Aimee. Boss machine, sticky speakers and IR spray can. Wish we could have shown the backpack DDR but we’ve got some exciting plans for that in Workshop 2!

Most exciting was the work the kids generated in the “Pimp Your Tech” creative section at the end. There was a really good variety of ideas ranging from IR gloves with built-in sound, surround sound bedrooms, and video editing tools. And the kids stuck around even when the lunch bell rang!
I’m pumped for our next workshop this Friday.
